Epoxy Flooring Loveland, Ohio — Garage and Basement Floors
Loveland mixes 1950s-to-’80s houses near the historic downtown with big waves of 1990s and 2010s building, so no two slabs are alike. We measure yours, talk through flake, metallic and solid-color epoxy, and quote it in person. Our crew grinds the concrete smooth and fills the cracks before any coat goes down.
Garage and Basement Floors for the Sweetheart of Ohio
Loveland packs a lot into 5.2 square miles: brick sidewalks downtown, the Little Miami River and its scenic trail running straight through town, and neighborhoods spread across three counties. Many Loveland addresses (ZIP 45140) sit in the surrounding townships, and we cover those too: we come out, look at the concrete and quote in person. We coat garage floors, basements and other rooms at home, and shop and business floors.
The housing runs the full range. Roughly 42 percent of Loveland homes date from 1990 or later, with the 1990s the busiest decade, while about one in five went up in the 1950s or ’60s. An older slab usually brings cracks, divots and stains to work through; a 20- or 30-year-old garage is more about protecting sound concrete from road salt.
Two local realities shape the approach. The Little Miami flooded Loveland in 1913 and again in 1959, which led to the levee and channel built in 1962–63, so a basement slab gets a moisture check before we recommend a system. And the clay-rich shale soil under Greater Cincinnati’s hillsides can shift, so cracks get a look for movement too. Want numbers first? See the Cincinnati epoxy cost guide. Comparing systems? Prep
Smooth Concrete, Filled Cracks
The slab is ground smooth, and cracks, holes and divots are filled before color goes on. Colors are custom-mixed, with flake, mica or glitter blends.
1 crew
Garage, Basement or Business
Garages, basement laundry rooms, home bars, shops and warehouse floors, all through one crew and one phone number.
Moisture
Basements Checked Before Coating
The Little Miami has flooded Loveland before, in 1913 and 1959. We check a basement slab for moisture before we recommend a system, and an active leak has to be fixed before any floor goes down.

Free Quote Visit at Your Home
FreeWe meet you at the property, measure the space and look the slab over, including moisture on a basement floor. We walk you through flake, metallic and solid-color options and give you a quote in person. Book your visit.
Grinding and Sanding the Slab
PrepThe concrete is ground and sanded smooth, so the first coat bonds to clean, open concrete instead of a dusty, worn top layer.
Cracks, Holes and Divots Filled
RepairCracks, holes and divots are filled before any color goes down, and an older slab usually has more of them. A crack that is still moving is a different problem, and we say so up front.
Color Coats and Clear Top Coat
CoatsColor is mixed for your floor and applied in sections: a base coat carrying the flake, metallic or solid color, then a clear top coat. Polyaspartic and polyurea coatings are also available, as is a non-slip additive.
Clean-Up, Photos, Cure Times
FinishThe crew clears the debris, and you get before, during and after photos. Walk-on and drive-on times vary by system, so ask us for the numbers on yours.

Loveland Epoxy Floor Questions
The short answer first, then the detail.
Yes. Loveland, Ohio, reaches into Hamilton, Clermont and Warren counties, and Epoxy Flooring Cincinnati quotes floors in every part of it, plus the surrounding townships. Call (513) 434-8103, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, to book the free visit.
Typically about $2,000 to $5,000 for a flake floor with a polyaspartic top coat, or roughly $5 to $10 per square foot. A 1-car garage usually runs about $1,000 to $3,000 and a 3-car about $3,000 to $8,000. These are typical ranges, not a quote: cracks, divots and moisture move the number, and we price each floor after seeing it.
Usually, once the slab has been checked. We look at a basement floor for moisture before recommending a system; where readings call for it, a moisture-mitigation primer adds roughly $1 to $3 per square foot. A coating does not keep water out of a basement, but a coated floor is easier to mop and clean than bare concrete if water gets in.
Yes, with a little care from you. A coated floor keeps salty slush on the surface, where you can squeegee or hose it out, instead of letting it soak into bare concrete. The official weather station at CVG averages about 100 freezing nights a year, and concrete engineers advise hosing salt off garage slabs because deicers speed up surface damage. A slab already flaking at the door gets ground and repaired first. The full picture is in our guide to Cincinnati’s climate and your epoxy floor.
It depends on the system. Polyaspartic and polyurea cure faster than epoxy, so a floor with one of them on top takes feet and tires sooner than an all-epoxy floor, and temperature and humidity play a part too. Ask us for the walk-on and drive-on times for your floor.
