Commercial Epoxy Flooring in Cincinnati for Shops and Showrooms
Epoxy Flooring Cincinnati puts down flake, solid-color and metallic epoxy for businesses in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We price your space in person and install it with our own crew, and every slab is ground smooth with its cracks filled before the first coat. National price ranges for each system are posted on this page, so you see the numbers before anyone visits.
A Commercial Floor Has a Harder Job Than a Garage Floor
A garage floor sees two cars and a mower. A commercial floor sees dollies, chair legs, carts and a nightly mop bucket, plus whatever winter carries in from the sidewalk. We prep it the way we prep garages and basements, and price each room after seeing the slab.
Greater Cincinnati has plenty of them. The city had as many as 36 breweries by 1860 and was dubbed the “Beer Capital of the World” in 1890, and the region now counts more breweries than before Prohibition. Blue Ash is an office town as much as a home town, and Chester Road in Sharonville is lined with hotels and restaurants around the convention center.
Winter wears on the front door. The City of Cincinnati salts or brines its streets before a storm, hills and bridges first, and ahead of one January 2025 storm it had 27,000 tons of salt ready. Concrete engineers say de-icers speed up scaling on bare concrete. On a coated floor the slush sits on top, where a mop takes it away.
Older buildings bring their own questions: slabs tiled, painted and patched more than once, and concrete at or below grade that can hold moisture. We check the slab before recommending a system, and since Cincinnati’s hillsides sit on clay-rich shale soil, we check cracks for movement too.
Rooms that suit a coated floor:
- Taprooms, bars and brewery floors
- Restaurant and commissary kitchens
- Shops, pharmacies and showrooms
- Office lobbies and break rooms
- Gyms, vet clinics and medical offices
- Dealer and repair-shop service bays

Why Businesses Coat the Slab
Six practical reasons a coated floor earns its place.
No seams
Nothing for Grime to Hide In
One continuous surface: no grout lines to scrub and no tile edges to catch a cart wheel, so kitchens and exam rooms clean up faster.
Non-slip
Grip Where the Floor Gets Wet
A non-slip additive can go into the finish behind the bar, at the dish station and at the entry where winter slush comes in.
Custom
Your Colors, Mixed to Order
Color is mixed for each job. Flake, mica and glitter blends are on the menu, and metallic comes in blue, red, silver, bronze and more.
Prep first
The Slab Gets Fixed Before It Gets Coated
The concrete is ground smooth and cracks, holes and divots are filled first, so old patches and tile-glue ridges don’t show through.

Five steps from walk-through to handover. Timing depends on the system and the room, and we set it with you at the quote.
Walk-Through and Quote
FreeWe measure the room and look hard at the slab: tile glue, paint, patches, cracks and the busiest doorways. Then we price your space. Book the visit.
Choosing the System
PlanningFlake, solid color or metallic epoxy, a polyaspartic or polyurea top coat where traffic calls for it, and a non-slip additive where floors get wet. Short closing window? Say so now.
Grinding and Repairs
PrepGrinding takes the slab down to clean, smooth concrete, and cracks, holes and divots get filled. A crack that’s still moving is pointed out to you, not buried under the coating.
Coating in Sections
CoatsThe base coat goes down in a color mixed for your job, then any flake, mica or metallic effect, then the top coat, working across the floor in sections.
Clean-Up and Handover
DoneThe crew clears the debris and you get before, during and after photos. Ask us for your system’s walk-on and full-use times before planning the reopening.
The Walk-Through Costs Nothing

Commercial Epoxy Flooring FAQ — Cincinnati
What owners and managers ask before booking.
It depends mostly on the system and the slab. The ranges above run from about $3–$5 per sq ft for standard epoxy to $5–$12 for polyaspartic or polyurea, before repairs. We quote after seeing the floor, and the pricing guide has more.
It depends on the size and layout of the space. Ask us at the walk-through whether the room can be done in stages, and get your system’s walk-on and full-use times before you plan a reopening.
It can be, if the system fits the room: no grout lines to trap grease, and a non-slip additive where it stays wet. Kitchens with heavy hot-water wash-down are usually floored in urethane mortar, a system we do not install; if part of yours needs it, we will say so at the walk-through. Inside the city, food businesses are inspected by the Cincinnati Health Department, so check its rules before you choose.
Prep decides it. The slab is ground smooth and its cracks, holes and divots are filled, and we check for moisture and for cracks that are still moving. A moving crack will come back through any coating, so we’ll tell you if we find one.
Yes. We cover Florence, Erlanger, Newport and Fort Thomas in Kentucky, along with Cincinnati, Mason, Fairfield, Blue Ash, Loveland, Sharonville, Springdale, Lebanon and Hamilton in Ohio. See the service areas page.
